Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Asia Pacific Leader, Global Investigations + Strategic Intelligence Practice, provide leadership to the practice’s PRC operations and act as the primary in-country client contact person.

  • Promote the company and maintain market visibility, including attendance of industry and marketing events and delivery of relevant presentations.

  • Drive practice growth, including developing strategy, approach and penetration into new target clients.

  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high level of professional service and client satisfaction.

  • Management of the entire project life-cycle including submission of proposals, supervising project teams, providing quality control, completion of high-quality client reports, and leading any post-reporting client meetings.

  • Develop, manage and grow a multi-disciplinary team(s) including research analysts, economists, forensic accountants, administrative personnel and other staff.

  • Identification of new sources of information, research tools and approaches as well as managing these resources.

  • Development and maintenance of strong working relationships with colleagues across the globe and across different practices.

  • Day-to-day office management.

  • Whilst the position will be Beijing-based, there will be occasional travel within Asia-Pacific and inside the PRC.

  Key Qualifications

  • A keen interest and background in business intelligence, fraud, and due diligence work.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a commercial client services environment, with significant exposure to enhanced due diligence and research work, and a track-record of generating revenue.

  • Highly motivated and organised self-starter with a pleasant personality.

  • Ability to motivate others, including providing strong oversight over project teams, staff and other resources.

  • Able to adapt quickly to dynamic tasks and deadlines resulting from new or shifting priorities.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English essential.

  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) highly desirable.
